Abalone & Black Spinel with Sterling Silver Necklace

Spinel is one of the official birth stones for August. In crystal healing terms it’s said to be a gem of hope, revitalization and feeling the joy of being alive. Spinel’s also thought to provide assistance with a lack of energy/enthusiasm whilst helping to bring fresh energy to your mind, body, heart & spirit. What a wonderful gift to give!
The necklace measures 18.5 inches (47cms) with a 2.5 inch (4cm) extender chain, making it a total of 21 inches or 51cms.
All of the jewellery that I make is unique, therefore each piece is a one of a kind,
You will receive this beautiful necklace in one of our gift boxes which we aim to dispatch within 3-5 working days of your purchase via 1st class signed for mail.
How The Magic Happens
925 Sterling Silver findings are used with our jewellery and in this case it also has Sterling Silver twisted bars. This ensures the necklace is hypoallergenic for those people that suffer with allergic reactions to base metals.
No two Abalone shells are the same, therefore each bar has a completely unique pattern and colour. These beautiful bars have the most beautiful reds, greens, blues, silvers and black shinning through.
The double refraction by the black spinel provides amazing sparkle. The sparkle is also achieved by highly skilled lapidarists who provide each gem with the most amazing facets.
The Abalone and Black Spinel necklace includes free P & P to all of mainland UK. Each item of jewellery purchase from me will be present in its own gift box which is also free of charge.

I have been making jewellery for around 7 years and started selling jewellery for just over 2 years. The gemstones themselves are what initially sparked my interest. I found jewellery making after collecting crystals for more than 20 years. When I realised I could make jewellery myself I couldn’t resist trying and I have never looked back
The type of jewellery I make has also expanded to include Swarovski components, crystal ribbons and much more.
Please see my Facebook page for more about me and my jewellery http://www.facebook.com/allieslittlegems
Until I started making jewellery myself I didn’t realise how prevalent fake gems are in the market today. Gemstone treatments/enhancements were also an unknown to me.
Gem treatments/enhancements can vary from simple oiling, heat treatment, filling, stabilisation and even radiation to name a few. Some enhance or change the colour whilst others change the appearance. Some are viewed as essential treatments for the gem. Turquoise is a good example of this, being quite low on the mohs scale (the scale of hardness for gemstones) therefore to make it more hard wearing it is stabilised.
I am proud to be able to state that not only can I prove the authenticity of every single one of my gemstones, I also know if any treatments have been used. When purchasing any piece of my jewellery if you would like proof of those gems authenticity please ask and I will happily provide it to you.
Here in the UK any piece of Silver over a weight of 7.78 grams has to be tested and Hallmarked by an official Assay Office to be sold legally. However this particular piece does not breach 7.78g & therefore does not require hallmarking.
