Aquamarine and Sterling Silver Necklace
This beautiful Aquamarine necklace comes with sterling silver chain and clasp. The necklace is made up of stunning Aquamarine rondels which have been faceted to perfection for additional sparkle. Miyuki galvanised seed beads have been used as spaces, this ensures the spacers do not tarnish. A sterling silver extender chain measuring 4cms has also been included.
Aquamarine is one of the official birth stones for March. In crystal healing terms it’s said to be a gem of courage and has an affinity with sensitive people. It can invoke tolerance of others & overcomes judgementalism. Aquamarine is also said to provide support to those overwhelmed by responsibility.. What a wonderful gift to give!
The necklace measures 17.5 inches (44cms) with a 2 inch (5cm) extender chain, making it a total of 19 inches or 49cms.
All of the jewellery that I make is unique, therefore each piece is a one of a kind,

How The Magic Happens
925 Sterling Silver findings are used with our jewellery and in this case Sterling Silver chain too. This ensures the necklace is hypoallergenic for those people that suffer with allergic reactions to base metals.
No two natural gemstones are the same, therefore each rondel holds its own individual beauty. These beautiful gems have an amazing sparkle with stunning sky blue colours.
The sparkle is achieved by highly skilled lapidarist who provide each gem with the most amazing facets.
The Aquamarine necklace includes free P & P to all of mainland UK. Each item of jewellery purchased from me will be presented in its own gift box which is also free of charge.

I have been making jewellery for around 7 years and started selling jewellery for just over 2 years. The gemstones themselves are what initially sparked my interest. I found jewellery making after collecting crystals for more than 20 years. When I realised I could make jewellery myself I couldn’t resist trying and I have never looked back
The type of jewellery I make has also expanded to include Swarovski components, crystal ribbons and much more.
Please see my Facebook page for more about me and my jewellery http://www.facebook.com/allieslittlegems
Until I started making jewellery myself I didn’t realise how prevalent fake gems are in the market today. Gemstone treatments/enhancements were also an unknown to me.
Gem treatments/enhancements can vary from simple oiling, heat treatment, filling, stabilisation and even radiation to name a few. Some enhance or change the colour whilst others change the appearance. Some treatments are viewed as essential for the gem. Turquoise for example, being quite low on the mohs scale (the scale of hardness for gemstones) is normally stabilised to make it more hard wearing.
I am proud to be able to state that not only can I prove the authenticity of every single one of my gemstones, I also know if any treatments have been used. When purchasing any piece of my jewellery if you would like proof of those gems authenticity please ask and I will happily provide it to you.
Here in the UK any piece of Silver over a weight of 7.78 grams has to be tested and Hallmarked by an official Assay Office to be sold legally. However this particular piece does not breach 7.78g & therefore does not require hallmarking.
