Description

Paint Pour Copper Jug

Beautiful paint pour copper jug. This ceramic jug has been created using the paint pour technique in my garden studio. This beatiful jug will look fantastic in any home setting and I think its charm speaks for itself. This lovely paint pour copper jug would make an ideal gift for a loved one or as a treat for yourself.

Paint pouring is a technique using acrylic paint, a specialist pouring medium and the correct amount of water to the mix. There are several ways of applying the paint. However, in this instance this copper jug has been created using the pouring technique. Several colours of the pre prepared paint are poured into a cup. The cup is then carefully placed upside down over the surface of the item to be poured on. The paint will then run down the sides to give a wonderful color mix of your pre prepared colors. It really is an art form and not as easy as it sounds.

The paint has been left to fully cure then spray varnished for added protection and shine. The colour on this paintpour jug is amazing with copper, gold, black, light green and magneta. As you can see the colors are very striking with the dark orange flowers. It has 4 small rubbe bung feet on base for furniture protection. Only suitable for artificial flowers

About Me

I opened my business in 2019 and became a member of the Professional Crafters Guild in February 2020. I am currently a stockist at The Suffolk Craft Shop, Kersey Mill, Hadleigh. Kersey Mill is part of the English Heritage.
I am a disabled artist and I work from my garden studio in Braintree, Essex. This has all been set up at a good working height as I have very limited usage and reach in both of my arms. I find crafting very good physiotherapy as well as being great for mental wellbeing.
