Plaster Laying Tiger Ornament

Lovely plaster ornament of a tiger at rest . This plaster tiger ornament is hand cast from stonecast plaster in my garden studio. This laying tiger ornament is perfect for any home setting traditional or modern and would certainly make a wonderful gift for your friends and loved ones! This plaster laying tiger ornament will be a beautiful feature and talking point for guests.

Stonecast plaster is heavier and stronger than traditional plaster of paris and as a result will not chip or flake like so. As a result it has the strength and feel of stone.

All indoor castings have been handpainted with high quality acrylic paint. Furthermore,  this item has been layered many times with different colored acrylic paints  to give this antique bronze effect colour. The tiger’s bronze colouring is wonderful in the lighting and the photos do not do him enough justice. He is a wonderful character all round!

L 25cm x  D13cm x W13cm
all sizes are approximate

All indoor castings have a felt base to protect furniture.

About Me

I opened my business in 2019 and became a member of the Professional Crafters Guild in February 2020. I am currently a stockist at The Suffolk Craft Shop, Kersey Mill, Hadleigh. Kersey Mill is part of the English Heritage.
I am a disabled artist and I work from my garden studio in Braintree, Essex. This has all been set up at a good working height as I have very limited usage and reach in both of my arms. I find crafting very good physiotherapy as well as being great for mental wellbeing.
