A Striped Christmas is a 10 page downloadable project book, which includes the instructions for eight simple projects. They can be given as gifts or used in the home. The patterns originally used ‘jellyrolls’, pre-cut strips of co-ordinating fabrics sold in a roll. They have been adapted for use with any fabrics you may have at home, or smaller collections you can purchase. The choice of fabrics and colours will make the difference between a striped Christmas or general projects. In addition many other projects can be adapted using the three simple techniques shown here.

Many years ago during the second world war, my Dad was serving with a regiment in Iceland. During a snowstorm a group of soldiers became lost in the North of the country. However, an Icelandic family rescued Dad and they became firm friends. Sometime after he returned home I was born and as a teenagers, I became friends with a girl from the family. She now has a granddaughter with a rare illness known as AHC for which there is as yet no cure.
I now sell my crafts to raise funds for the research into this illness. My husband, the Old Grump also helps. In a way I am paying back what they did for my family – after all without them, I would not be here! Please help us to find a cure by buying our products.
